If you have a hand injury, or even a missing finger or two, you now actually have a chance to have a meaningful guitar experience. Not only can you strum easy chords, but you can play solo instrumental guitar with only 2 fingers.

Not single-note lead guitar stuff– real solo guitar arrangements. I not only recorded a lot of well-known strummed songs with just me and my guitar to show you how good it sounds – I also recorded an entire album of solo acoustic guitar instrumentals using just the two middle fingers of my left hand! Those fingers have very limited mobility but you'd never know it to hear the music. To really prove the point, I bandaged my index and 4th finger with tape and gauze for the whole album.
